Sophie Trist is a second-year MFA candidate studying fiction. She’s totally blind from birth and prefers to write historical fiction and fantasy, often with a disability focus. Her work appears in The Braille Monitor, Life Matters Journal, Voyage, Spread Second Stories, and an upcoming anthology published by Something or Other Publishing. A Louisiana native, Sophie’s interests include dogs, good food, country music, and sharing her love of good stories.
