Sam Campbell is a first-year fiction MFA student at the University of Arkansas. She serves as a fiction reader for several publications, including the Arkansas International, The Great Lakes Review, and Orison Books. She was the 2019-2020 editor of The Mockingbird, the student arts and literary magazine of East Tennessee State University, where she earned both her M.A. in English as well as her Masters of Education. Her work has appeared in October Hill Magazine, Unto These Hills, and the Tennessee’s Emerging Poets Anthology, among others. Sam also has over five years’ experience working in K-12 schools, both as an English teacher and a librarian. She is thrilled to be able to continue teaching through the WITS program.
