Sacha Idell is a fourth-year fiction writer and sometimes Japanese translator from Northern California. He holds a BFA in Creative Writing from The New School, where he was Riggio Honors Fellow in fiction. Before coming to Arkansas, he taught English to students of all ages in Tokyo and Osaka. He can say “squirrel” in seven languages and once ran ten kilometers in a Santa costume.
