Bryan Hurt is the author of Everyone Wants to Be Ambassador to France (Starcherone) and the editor of Watchlist: 32 Stories by Persons of Interest (OR Books), an anthology of surveillance-themed fiction. He received his PhD from the University of Southern California and his writing has been published in The American Reader, Guernica, Kenyon Review, Los Angeles Review of Books, New England Review, Tin House, TriQuarterly, and others. He teaches creative writing at the University of Arkansas.
