Anthony Blake is a fourth-year poet from Louisville, Kentucky. Before attending the University of Arkansas, he graduated from Centre College with a degree in English and worked as a marketing and editorial assistant for independent publisher Sarabande Books. He currently works as the managing editor of the Arkansas International. “I didn’t begin writing seriously until college,” he said. “A program like WITS would have worked wonders for my development so I’m excited to have a hand in encouraging young writers.” His poems are forthcoming in The Journal and Passages North.
