Jace Einfeldt is a writer from Southern Utah. He is a third-year fiction writer in the MFA program at the University of Arkansas. He also dabbles in translation from Tagalog and other languages and dialects of the Philippines. He lives in Fayetteville, Arkansas with his wife, Meghan, and son, Finn. His fiction tends to find its home in the surreal space where faith and personal identity collide. He is the recipient of the 2024-2025 Nancy Miller Saunders Award. He holds a BA in English from Brigham Young University where he worked as a TA in BYU’s English Department and as a writing consultant for BYU’s Research and Writing Center. He currently teaches composition and creative writing courses at the University of Arkansas as a Graduated Teaching Assistant. His short fiction can be found in Cutbank, Southwest Review, Words & Sports Quarterly, and Farewell Transmission, among others.
