Lily C. Buday is a third-year fiction MFA candidate from Michigan who is still adjusting to living in a landlocked state. She has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan and the plucky can-do spirit of an LM Montgomery heroine. Her work has been awarded the Hopwood Prize for Undergraduate Fiction, and has been published in GASHER, Chautauqua Journal, and Joyland Magazine.
