The double wide in Missouri
The cat clawing the stained futon
The continuous drip from the ceiling leak
The wind that echoes in the night
The coffee mug shaped like Missouri
Nobody notices the old man’s kindness,
Nor the wound in his heart.
But what’s the purpose of watering dust?

Crimson Orange

dirty cracks under palms,
old rusty bent anils,
young grown facial hair,
flat ripped ball,
letter miss convenient store sign,
bright dry sun,
messy dug up clay,
duck’s loud webbed feet,
moldy orange fruit,
zoo veteran tiger exhausted like
a scared grandfather
strutting down the long distant hallways.

Yeah, we’re good.
buzzing in my ear
Will you go already?
2016, graduation.
Broken lamp in the corner
You irritate me.

In the Woods of California

In the woods of California
one rabbit digging something with its tiny hands.
Though it is rainy, the rabbit does not give up.
Strong wind cannot also stop the rabbit
from getting the carrot, huge and long like California.
Nobody notices that rabbit has been digging it for a few days.
Several wounds on its hands show its zeal toward carrot.
The carrot is finally picked up with a mass of dust.

The Rat

In the state of Arkansas there’s a small coffee shop
with a rodent who uses tiny hands to take out beans
We use water to scare it
or use wind up traps to kill it
We put peanut butter on the trap with a funny logo in the shape of Arkansas
Nobody notices it when it strikes
The trap gave the rodent a would
We sweep away the vermin like dust.

Ocean is blue
because the existence of sky
What is the colour of ocean?
no colour but pure
One day, sky can’t turn the ocean to blue.
It gradually change by someone.
What is the colour of ocean?
